‘The truth is…’ After a historic year, Julian Alvarez abandons his claim on Manchester City’s future.

Julian Alvarez has revealed his future plans following a great first year at Manchester City.

The striker recently scored two goals in City’s 4-0 victory over Fluminense in the FIFA Club World Cup final, giving them their fifth major champions of 2023.

This prompted the 23-year-old to speak with the club’s media about their next steps following such a great calendar year.

Alvarez examines the future of the city

When questioned about his future, Alvarez told the club’s official website following the win in Saudi Arabia.

“The truth is that I am very happy at Manchester City,” he stated. I’ve been a member of the club for a little over a year. I’m quite pleased with everything we’ve accomplished. Last season, and they were quite helpful from the start.

“I’ve grown a lot as a player and as a person, so I’m happy at the club.” And, of course, one continues to fantasize about winning more titles. Now we want to win them all over again!”

Alvarez has made 75 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City across all competitions, scoring 27 goals and providing 14 assists in the process.

Given that the centre-forward was connected with a move to Bayern Munich during the previous summer transfer window, it’s encouraging to hear that his priority is to continue to be successful with City.

With Alvarez having scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 21 Premier League and Champions League appearances this season, he’ll give City a great chance of winning even more silverware in the coming months if he can keep delivering goal contributions.

JOEL NDALA OF MANCHESTER CITY IS A TARGET FOR STRASBOURG

According to L’Équipe, Manchester City winger Joel Ndala (17) is an option for BlueCo-owned RC Strasbourg Alsace.

Patrick Vieira wants Strasbourg to sign more wingers this winter. Despite a significant recruitment campaign in the summer, just two wingers arrived: ngelo Gabriel and Dilane Bakwa. That is insufficient for Vieira, who has recognized the vast areas as a position that needs to be strengthened further.

Les Alsaciens, according to L’Équipe, are interested in Manchester City’s Ndala, whose contract with the Premier League side expires at the conclusion of the season. The winger represented England in the recent U17 World Cup, scoring three goals and contributing two assists. Ndala impressed Strasbourg scour Bruno Paterno, who was present for the competition.

According to L’Équipe, RCSA has a youth-focused recruitment procedure since BlueCo took over the club in the summer. As a result, Ndala would undoubtedly suit the bill.
