Celtic have finalized a comprehensive deal to secure the services of a highly regarded new striker.
Celtic have recently achieved a significant breakthrough in their quest to secure a last-minute signing of a striker for Brendan Rodgers. Despite a busy summer transfer window that saw several new players join Celtic Park, the club has made only one signing this month, winger Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna. However, with the team currently leading the Scottish Premiership title race, there is a sense of urgency to bolster their squad, particularly in the striker position.
In response to this need, Celtic has reportedly reached an agreement with Norwich City to sign striker Adam Idah on loan for the remainder of the season. The 22-year-old, who has primarily played for Norwich City throughout his career, is undergoing a medical in London ahead of the proposed move to Parkhead. Idah, who has impressed with seven goals so far this season, is seen as a valuable addition to Celtic’s attacking lineup.
Pundits have praised Idah for his recent performances, including causing difficulties for top defenders like Nathan Ake and Virgil van Dijk during international matches. Celtic will be hoping that Idah can maintain his impressive form and contribute positively to their attacking options alongside players like Kyogo Furuhashi and Hyeon-gyu Oh.
