Title: T.J. Warren Joins Minnesota Timberwolves on Short-Term Contract
T.J. Warren, an experienced NBA player with eight years under his belt, has recently signed a 10-day contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves after spending a considerable portion of the 2023-2024 season as a free agent.
The Timberwolves, currently leading the Western Conference standings, have brought Warren on board to strengthen their shooting options as they approach the final stages of the season.
Warren previously served a similar role with the Phoenix Suns during the latter part of the preceding season. However, his performance in the playoffs was less than stellar, shooting a combined 6 for 19 in both the Wild Card round and the Western Conference Semifinals.
Over his career, Warren has maintained solid averages of 14.6 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.
One of Warren’s standout moments came during the 2020 playoffs, where he earned the moniker “Bubble Warren” following an impressive showing with the Indiana Pacers. Across six games, Warren boasted an average of 31 points, including a memorable 53-point game where he sank nine three-pointers.
His remarkable contributions helped the Pacers secure a spot in the playoffs as a play-in team. Although they were ultimately swept by the Miami Heat in the first round, Warren’s exceptional performance during the bubble period left a lasting impression.
Further updates on Warren’s stint with the Timberwolves are forthcoming.
