According to Fawcett, Jackson expressed his excitement about joining Florida State, stating, “Growing up in Florida, FSU has always been a dream school for me. I loved the college town atmosphere. I attended a few games and loved every minute. I know they already had another recruit in ’24, but ever since I first met Coach Norvell, I always told him I just want a chance to compete.”

Jackson shared a personal connection to the university, revealing that his late grandmother, Ruby Collins Moore, was a devoted fan of FSU. He expressed joy in having the opportunity to make her proud.

In addition to Jackson, Florida State’s 2024 class includes other standout recruits, such as four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek and four-star cornerback Charles Lester III. The football program has also made notable additions through the transfer portal, securing former Alabama running back Roydell Williams. Williams, who was Alabama’s second-leading rusher in 2023, is expected to bring valuable experience to the Seminoles, potentially becoming a key player in the upcoming season after junior Trey Benson declared for the NFL Draft.
