NBA Commissioner Adam Silver extended condolences, acknowledging Milojević’s accomplishments, including winning the 2022 NBA championship in his debut season with the Warriors and his influential coaching career.

He was a three-time MVP in the Adriatic League. In 2012, Milojević turned to coaching, leading professional basketball teams in Serbia and Montenegro. The NBA community, including fellow Serbian native Nikola Jokić, expressed condolences, with Jokić posting on Instagram, “Rest in peace! Condolences to the family!”
